Definitions

Here are a few paranormal terms and there definitions.

Apparition

An apparition is supposedly meant to be the physical appearance of a living being after they pass away. They can appear as near solid form, to a fuzzy, very feint figure. Also, they can travel through or around solid objects.

Ghost

A very broad term, encompassing all the elements of an orb through to an apparition. Many people think a ghost appears because it feels like they have unfinished business and are consequently stuck in our world.

Mist

This is the stage before a full apparition appears. It takes the form of a very hazy mist.

Orb

This is basicly a small ball of light, focusing all energy in one area. This is said to be the first stage of a ghost.

Paranormal

Something that is said to be paranormal means that there is no explaination or scientific evidence to answer a paranormal event.

Poltergeist

A phenomenon that has the ability to move physical objects

U F O

Unidentified flying object. A U F O can be of any form and appear in any place and is basicly a flying object that has no explaination.
